ISO 27001 is an international standard for information security management systems that helps companies to protect their information and IT systems effectively and seamlessly.
93 measures, from encryption to account rights
The standards to be met for certification comprise 93 defined measures that include the most diverse areas of a company. They cover organisational, physical, technological and human resources areas. Questions raised include: "How secure is the company’s encryption?", "Which vulnerabilities are there?", "Who needs what rights to access data?", "How to ensure that the currently hired employee is not a hacker?" or "What happens in the event of a firewall failure?".
Many of these areas, such as the question of the vulnerabilities existing in companies and the elimination of the problems found, as well as the rights management of various identities and their access rights, are already part of the TWINSOFT portfolio.
