A very warm hello!
If a hairdresser has a bad haircut, you are very reluctant to let him cut your hair, right?! So how much would you trust an IT security specialist who neglects his own security measures? Probably very little.
Because we at TWINSOFT know how important information security is for the entire existence of a company – and of course also because we want to lead by example – we regularly check our own processes.
We are talking about ISO27001:2022 certification, where "lived information security" is the main keyword.
In recent months, our ISO team has worked diligently to implement all ISO certification measures for TWINSOFT seamlessly. And these are not so few. The standards to be met comprise 93 defined measures, so-called controls, which include the most diverse areas of a company.
They are organisational, physical, technological and human. Questions that are raised are, for example, how secure is our encryption? What are the weaknesses? Who needs what rights to access data? How do we check that the currently hired employee is not a hacker? How do we deal with visitors or suppliers? What happens in a firewall failure?
All these questions illustrate once again that the topic of information security is very diverse and that several experts from different areas are required to participate in it. And even if we know this from our daily work, it never hurts to remember all this again and again. In doing so, we are following a trend and no longer let information security rest on the shoulders of a responsible person, but have appointed an entire ISMS team to take care of the implementation of the measures.
At the very top is the keyword "Awareness"! Because it depends on each individual employee how safe a company is – a weak link can break the entire chain. And this starts with such banal topics as dealing with a phishing mail.
In the end, we can say that the effort was worth it! All exams have been successfully passed and finally we hold our deserved certificate in our hands!
Congratulations,
Your TWINSOFT
