Identity Management (with voice biometrics) for your helpdesk

Who can what? Who can delete files, who only has read access? But also: Who has what step in the system? Identity Management is a part of every company and is extremely important for data protection and security reasons.

Nonetheless, companies usually do not have a password at some locations (yet). That's normal. Forgeting the password for certain applications or areas is also quite normal, even if you haven't needed it for a long time. With a simple 'password-vergessen-Button', it is true, for safety reasons, but not done in the profession. And now it's getting annoying. And possibly expensive.

Many companies work with this or similar helpdesk scenarios: The employee calls to the Helpdesk, must wait until he gets a free line, then his problem must be told to a local employee, then answer some stored security questions (who hopefully he or she remembers) and then receives a new password. This can cost between 20 and 30 euros for each reset. In addition, if necessary, penetrating workflows are blocked, here the costs can be reduced to unprecedented altitudes.

By using, for example, Voice biometrics This can be extremely simplified. The new workflow only looks something like this: Employee XY calls a specially set up number for this purpose (or opens a special application), identifies, then speaks a passphrase such as "My voice is my password" and he (or she) receives his new password. This saves time – and money. The costs here are on average 4-8 euros per reset. The purchase can therefore pay off within a very short time.
